Their total number reached 24 million people, they opened more than 40 million accounts. The share of private investors in the volume of transactions in shares at the end of the month exceeded 80%.

Private investors’ share of equity trading volume in February rose to 81.1% from 80.4% in January. In the volume of bond transactions, private investors took a 28.2% share.
Shares of Sberbank, Gazprom, Lukoil, Norilsk Nickel and Rosneft became the most popular stocks in private investors’ portfolios in February. On average, the shares of Sberbank and Gazprom account for up to 48% of the portfolio of private investors.
