The Samokat fast food delivery service will start opening offline outlets in cities where it has not yet delivered its own products. This is reported in several vacancies for sales assistants-cashiers published by the company. They caught the attention of Shopper’s.

Samokat will start opening offline points near Moscow and St. Petersburg

A number of vacancies are relevant for locations that are located near the largest markets for the presence of the service: in Yegorievsk (Moscow region), as well as in Vsevolozhsk and Kirishi (Leningrad region).

There will be several zones inside the Samokat offline point: a store with products and merchandise, including Samokat’s own brand, a bakery with pastries and hot drinks, as well as an order pick-up point and a Sbermegamarket showcase.

The press service of “Scooter” RB.RU reported that the company is now exploring different areas in the field of retail.

“We are evaluating the development effectiveness of various areas and testing different formats that will attract new users and help them save even more time,” said Scooter’s press service.

At the same time, the company emphasized that they are not ready to announce plans at this time.

In March, the company was already looking for an architect-designer to develop the concept of spaces to “go offline”. And in February, Samokata’s operating company, Smart Retail LLC, added new activities to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, including the retail trade of beverages, food, tobacco products, and alcoholic beverages.
