A new scientific study was conducted among 63 adults aged 18 to 33 years. They added peanut products to their diet every day for six months.

As a result, some positive changes occurred in the body of the participants. Researchers found that peanut eaters significantly increased urinary levels of phenolic metabolites, improved prostacyclin I2 levels, and improved the ratio between thromboxane A2 and prostacyclin I2 lipid molecules. These substances are considered markers of vascular health.

In addition, the study confirmed the hypothesis that polyphenols protect against the development of heart disease. Eating these nuts has also been associated with a lower risk of developing diabetes.
