Science says a lack of sleep makes employees more likely to act unethically and procrastinate. In general, sleep affects our willpower.

If you didn’t sleep well the night before, here’s how you can do more or less well at work the next day.

  1. Approach missions strategically. That is, avoid tasks that require willpower to complete. Instead, take on simple tasks that don’t require a lot of attention or thought. And if you can’t avoid the same kinds of tasks, do them at the beginning of the day.
