Tesla cuts prices on all its electric vehicles for the fifth time in a year

US electric vehicle maker Tesla has carried out another wave of price cuts for its products in the United States. This time, prices were reduced by 2-6%, some models dropped $5,000.

For example, the base Model 3 dropped to $42,000 (-$1,000), Model 3 Performance to $52,000 (-$1,000), Model Y Long Range to $53,000 (-$2,000).

Tesla cuts prices for the entire lineup for the fifth time since the beginning of the year. The strongest price reduction was in January: in Europe, Tesla electric cars fell 20%. With such measures, the manufacturer wants to support the demand for its electric vehicles.

In the first quarter of 2023, Tesla set its own record for electric vehicle shipments. In the first three months of this year, the company has released 422,000 copies. For all of 2023, Tesla plans to deliver 1.8 million electric vehicles, 500,000 more than in 2022.
