The VKontakte NFT collection, consisting of 8,000 unique images with Spotty the pet dog, sold out in half an hour. CryptoSpotty became the number 1 collection on the Rarible market in terms of sales per hour.

Announced on April 18, the launch of the first VKontakte NFT collection kicked off with unprecedented excitement. 8,000 tokens created in collaboration with digital artists Ruslan Vyaltsev, Zhenya Zubkov and Misha Liberty sold out in just 30 minutes.

This event was the first sale of NFT for rubles. The price of one CryptoSpotty mint was 379 rubles. Also, users had the opportunity to mint a set of three NFTs for 849 rubles. According to a VKontakte press release, VKontakte will send all funds received to the Care Fund to restore Buck’s apartment building in St. Petersburg.

Along with NFT, users received priority access to the company’s future installments, which will also take place on the VK NFT platform. Right now, CryptoSpotty is trading on Raribles for around $20 each, which is several times the price of a mint.
