This case started out as an April Fools’ joke, but eventually turned out to be a full-fledged product. It is already known that the device will be based on the latest AMD chip, the AMD Z1 Extreme.

Now, thanks to insiders, the price of the console has also been revealed. The 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD version will sell for $699.99, which is just $51 more than the equivalent Steam Deck version.

Note that internet sources also reveal the dimensions of the Asus ROG Ally. They will measure 11.02 x 4.37 x 0.83 inches. The weight of the portable will be small – only 608 g.

Features of the device include upgrading the M.2 2230 SSD with a single screw, an IPS display protected by Gorilla Glass DXC, and the ability to charge from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes using the included 65W USB-C. power source.
