The Ministry of Justice is reportedly investigating whether Binance officials violated sanctions against Russia by facilitating the transfer of funds from Russian citizens through the exchange.

In addition, Binance is reportedly in talks with the agency over previous accusations that it helped evade sanctions on Iran. Earlier, there were reports in the Russian media that Binance had canceled the 10,000 Euro limit for Russian accounts, and the technical support of the exchange confirmed the changes without making an official announcement.

Recall that Binance introduced deposit limits in April 2022 due to the implementation of EU sanctions.
