The new Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 arrived in Brazil this Monday (2). Smartwatches can now be purchased directly from the company’s official channels.
The duo was introduced during the Wonderlust event in September this year. The changes aren’t visible from the outside, but the update to the S9 SiP chip makes the devices Apple’s most powerful device yet.
The new chip supports the new Double Tap gesture, a new way to interact with the watch without touching the screens. The shortcut is used to control basic app functions.
The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is a direct upgrade, following the same design principles, with a titanium body and a focus on high-performance activities. The new processor gives Siri native capabilities and the same improved heart rate, blood oxygen level and thermometer sensors.

However, prices for Apple watches in Brazil remain high. Watch Series 9 starts at R$ 4,999 for the aluminum model and R$ 8,499 for the stainless steel version; Apple Watch Ultra 2 is sold for a single price of R$ 9,699.
According to the Apple website, delivery time for any model is only one business day.
