PicPay has launched an iPhone subscription plan that provides users with protection against robbery, theft and damage along with the device. Users will be able to choose Apple smartphones from iPhone 12 to the latest iPhone 15 with installments starting from R$ 120.

The plan is available on PicPay Shop, the financial app’s marketplace of products and services. In addition to the devices and protection, the subscription, in partnership with Allu, also offers a case, film and another spare iPhone in case any repairs are needed.

According to PicPay, the program gives the user the freedom of exchange and also saves up to 60% on the purchase price of a mobile phone. The example given by Fintech is the 128 GB iPhone 14 Pro Max. At the company store it costs more than R$ 8,000. In the subscription plan, its cost is R$ 3.5 thousand.

“Alongside a more conscious and sustainable form of consumption that promotes the circular economy, this service comes as an alternative for customers who have a habit of changing their mobile phone every year or want to save money without giving up their preferred iPhone. On the other hand, we have also opened up the opportunity for some people to have access to the device they have always dreamed of,” explained PicPay Shop manager Rita Lemos.

How to subscribe to PicPay plan?

To subscribe to the plan, simply open the app and access the marketplace. The user needs to click on the product title and follow the instructions step by step. You can also find it using the search field. The delivery time for mobile phones is maximum ten business days after the documents are approved.

This October, promotional prices apply for a 12-month subscription. After the period expires, it is possible to renew and continue with the same device, return it free of charge or replace it with a new one..

The list of iPhones includes:

  • iPhone 12;
  • iPhone 13, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max;
  • iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Max;
  • iPhone 15, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.
