We have bad news for those who have been eagerly awaiting the update. Android 15 from Samsung and One UI 7 beta: Delayed indefinitely. This news was reported by well-known leakers IceUniverse and Chun Bhai, who said that there are “no plans to release it in the near future.” Chun Bhai also said that the update has been “delayed indefinitely.”
Samsung appears to be having a hard time getting the update up and running, despite a series of leaks that have shown off a number of exciting new visual changes and features, including a redesigned camera interface, a host of new skins, and an inspired feature on Apple’s Dynamic Island. The news follows a previous delay in late July, when Samsung delayed the Android 15 beta as it decided to focus on the public release of One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S24 series.
The latest status on the One UI 7 beta is that there are no plans to launch it in the near future.

The reason for the delay is unclear. 9to5Google notes that there have been some passing mentions of bugs and issues with the update, but the main issue appears to be the delay in the release of One UI 6.1.1, which has delayed everything. At this point, it seems unlikely that Android 15 Update ready to launch in August.
Last week it was postponed indefinitely

The good news for Samsung is that it’s not alone in delaying updates. Google has also delayed Android 15, and the next series of Pixel 9 devices are rumored to launch with Android 14. The latest August patch also came out on top of Android 14, so it’s unlikely we’ll see Android 15 on Google until September at the earliest, and possibly even later on Samsung.
There’s no word yet on how long this delay will last or any specific information on when to expect it. The first sign that it’s likely coming soon will be that the Android patches that start rolling out will be based on Android 15, not Android 14.
