This Tuesday (14), Asus announced that its new high-end smartphone Zenfone 12 Ultra will be released on February 6. Although the ad does not show the appearance of the product, it focuses on showing the possible quality of the device’s cameras, as well as its artificial intelligence features.

The material says the Zenfone 12 Ultra “unlocks the power of artificial intelligence,” and fans of the brand say “A new era of excellence in mobile photography”. Although this does not reveal much, this handset is expected to have advanced AI features such as automatic color correction, object removal, and night mode enhancement to improve the quality of videos and photos.

This promotional material still suggests 4K recording, but that’s a perfectly normal feature even on entry-level handsets. However, based on the idea of the ad, Asus’ emphasis should include both camera and artificial intelligence options.

Zenfone 12 Ultra may have a rugged chip

Since there is very little official information about the Zenfone 12 Ultra, it’s time to move on to the rumors. Even today, a leak appearing on Geekbench shows that this device will be released with an octa-core processor with 16 GB RAM option and Adreno 830 graphics, pointing to the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Some speculations suggest that the new product will have certain features similar to the ROG Phone 9 Pro, including a 6.78-inch display with AMOLED display. The same situation can be experienced with the cameras, where the ROG version has a 50 megapixel main sensor, ultra wide angle (13 MP), telephoto (32 MP) and 32 MP front module.

The new Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra will be announced for the global market on February 6 and will have a complete technical sheet soon.
