Apple can finally change the look of its cheapest iPhone yet. The Cupertino-based company will bet on 6.1-inch LCD panel on fourth generation iPhone SEwhich may be announced within the next year or, at the latest, in 2024.
Yang also claims that the iPhone SE 4 will have a notch, so the design change from the current 3rd generation model will be significant. Mainly because having a notch like the current iPhone means the terminal will have thinner bezels.
It is unknown if the 2023 or 22 iPhone SE will include a True Deph camera to be able to use Face ID, or if it will retain Touch ID in some other way. It’s true, located not at the bottom of the screen, but on the sideas Ming-Chi Kuo recently stated (via Macrumors). This is something we’ve already seen with the iPad Air and iPad mini.
In terms of design, everything seems to indicate that the iPhone SE is 2023. will inherit the look of the iPhone XR. So keeping a single camera on the back, rounded aluminum bezels, and, to repeat, a front with thin bezels and a notch at the top of the screen.
On the iPhone SE 4 with a notch, and all the iPhone 15 bet on a dynamic island
While Apple has retained the iPhone SE’s look for three generations, the redesign of the model, which could be announced next year, makes sense for one reason. And, according to the latest rumors, all iPhone 15s, including non-professional models, will have a dynamic island. Apple thus could offer an important difference between the iPhone SE and the models announced in September, as well as make the cheaper model a more attractive terminal.
At the moment, fourth-generation iPhone SE specifications unknown, but it’s likely that it will ship with an A15 or A16 Bionic chip, a 12MP main camera, and also inherit some of the newer models’ stellar features like crash detection or MagSafe. It may also come with USB-C.
