A leak confirms the possible launch of this new product at WWDC in June 2023

Apple is preparing everything to welcome the new member of the computer family!

The 15-inch MacBook Air would have been a cheaper option with a larger screen

The probability seems more and more close. After confirming that Apple will finally launch the 15-inch MacBook Air, new reports confirm that the company may do so during WWDC in June 2023, before the live audience returns. Therefore, the version shared by Mark Gurman from the Power On column contradicts those waiting for the launch at a so-called spring event.

If Gürman is right, the launch of the larger MacBook Air It will coincide with the launch of the latest MacBook Air in June 2022during the developers’ WWDC. At that time, the company took the opportunity to present a MacBook Air with a new design, M2 chip, 1080p camera and 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display.

This is the year of the 15-inch MacBook Air

According to the post, beyond the release date, there are other concerns about the release. Gürman isn’t sure whether the new MacBook Airs will ship with Apple’s forthcoming M3 chips or retain the existing M2 silicon. The columnist claims that while the 15-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip continues to excite consumers, the new 13-inch MacBook Air M2 will not be attractive.

While the 15-inch MacBook Air is the main character in this launch wave, it won’t be alone. Apple will also introduce an updated 13-inch MacBook Air (J513) and a new Apple Mac Pro. Both versions are expected to be released between late spring and summer.

As for other members of Apple’s computer family, the company is believed to be working on production tests. 24-inch iMac has been updated internally, but no changes in screen size or new colors are expected in the fall.

Until now, Gürman expects more exciting updates in 2025with the advent of the first OLED-based touchscreen MacBooks.
