Huawei took advantage of its latest event in Europe to talk not only about mobile phones, but also about its new smartwatches. Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro. They are premium devices that will soon begin to be sold on the old continent.
Both smartwatch models have the Always On feature, which keeps the screen constantly on with adjustments in order not to waste too much battery. They are also waterproof and promise endurance up to 5 ATM.
The new Huawei Watch 4 series highlights a new feature that offers versatile health reports in just one minute. The smartwatch simultaneously reports heart rate results, blood oxygen concentration (SpO2), skin temperature, arterial stiffness, stress and respiratory health data on a single page.
Model and price differences
As the names suggest, the difference between the Huawei Watch 4 and the Watch 4 Pro is that the Pro model is a more premium version of the standard model.
While the Watch 4 comes with a 46mm stainless steel body, the Pro model has a 1.5” LTPO AMOLED display with sapphire glass inside a 48mm body made of TC4 titanium alloy. The more robust version also has built-in GPS, which is not available on the base model.
Another key difference is that the Watch 4 Pro comes with an eSIM card that allows you to connect to the 4G network of mobile devices. It even achieves the autonomy of four and a half days, offering slightly more battery life compared to three days for the Watch 4.
Huawei’s new smartwatches will go on sale in Europe in the coming weeks. The recommended retail price of the Watch 4 is €450 (R$2,400), the Watch 4 Pro costs €700 (R$3,800) with a titanium bracelet or €550 (R$3,000) with a leather bracelet.
