It first appeared in 2020 (although it had been around in Pennsylvania since 2014). It can seriously harm them trees. One in particular the tree of heaven, but the fly is a danger to apples, peaches, grapes, almonds, apricots, walnuts and other fruits. These flies are Asian. Their scientific name is Lycorma delicatula. The most famous name is instead spotted lanternfly (spotted lantern).
