In the industrial area of ​​Parma, something new is making way. A project which stands out between the concrete of the Autostrada del Sole and the Tav line, right in front of Barilla’s historic pasta factory. His name is agriBoscoa project by retraining environment that takes shape on an area of ​​23 hectares. All aimed at enriching biodiversity and developing sustainable agriculture.

The realization is thanks to the Barilla Group, in collaboration with AzzeroCO2 and Legambiente. A project that wants to develop into an open-air laboratory that can be used by everyone. We can mention the Cervino thorn, the blackcurrant of lantana, the apple tree, the cherry tree, the pear tree, the curly maple and the silver lime tree. It is the only case of a project involving both forestry and agricultural interventions. They will absorb more than 2 million kg of CO2, which corresponds to the CO2 emissions generated to meet the annual electricity needs of approximately 2,230 Italian families.
