The company’s two new handsets represent the previous update to the popular Reno7 line, which has already undergone some interesting design changes.
The Oppo Reno range takes its name from the English word for “upgrade”. and that’s what the company wanted to make clear with these two new models. They inherit the hybrid back design of the previous generation Oppo Find X3/X5 Pro and Reno7 with flat sides.
The Pro model has a glossy green or black finish, while the Reno8 remains matte with a metallic finish that is reflective, eye-catching and fingerprint-resistant.

As we can see from the feature table, both models are very similar in performance. They use the entire camera section, except for the use of the Marisilicon X NPU for image processing, which is reserved for the Pro model.
Let’s take a look at the design of the Reno8 Pro, which I personally liked a lot, except for the rear panel with a glossy finish to collect fingerprints.
The difference in hardware is the use of a slightly less powerful processor in the Reno8 model, as well as LPDDR4x RAM instead of the LPDDR5 we see in the Reno8.
Aesthetically, they are very similar, although the model Reno8 Pro has a bigger screen, which is hinted at by fewer frames and a front-facing camera in the top center of the screen. Here we leave you a small look at the design of the Oppo Reno8.
Reno8 has a front camera built into the top. Although both models flat metal frameand largely consistent with the design of other manufacturers, these models they stand out for their camera module and the way the curve softens its rise front to rear, as we saw in the Find X3 Pro and X5 Pro models.
Hardware Oppo bypasses Mediatek and this comes with a chip that remains the second most powerful Dimensity 8100 MAX in the Pro model and a slightly more modest model that can compete with the Snapdragon 7 Gen1 Dimensity 1300.
These are very well configured models that will no doubt be used throughout the lifetime of the terminal.
The camera configuration in both mobiles is exactly the same for both selfies and backs, and it is the Pro model that integrates the Marisilicon X image processing chip as the difference between the two.
This is the configuration with Main camera Sony IMX766. already well known and from which Oppo has been getting a lot of performance for a few years now. On the contrary, it is not an optically stabilized sensor, but an electronic one.
The back packs an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera, which will remain for very residual use.
front camera has 32 Mpx and yes, it looks like the company’s great bet on this Reno line and will make the selfie another great claim on this mobile line.
If there is something that I liked in terms of design, it is the back of the Reno8 model, the non-professional model, it is the back that seems to continue the metal side and gives certain reflections depending on the lighting.
Both models support fast charging with compatibility and a charger in the box. 80W SuperVOOC so we face a full load of them 4500 mAh battery in less than half an hour.
As we can see, Oppo has launched two smartphones with which it intends to appeal to a demanding public that is unwilling or unable to spend almost 1,000 euros on the Find X line.
These Reno8s are a reasonable bet with a very interesting balance of design, hardware and price. and that, at least on paper, they seem like a good choice. We will have to check this when we analyze them.

If there’s one thing that seems obvious in the tablet market, it’s that many companies have chosen to leave because of the popularity of the iPad.
In fact, there are brands that offer very basic tablets to cover the price gap below the iPad and the need for a tablet device like the Realme Pad Mini.
Other companies are aiming for the maximum range, such as the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
Oppo did a very smart bet offering a very balanced device at the top of the first option. That is, a 10-inch tablet with very hard price and specifications that can cover most applications.
East Oppo Pad Air stands out for its lightness be a 10-inch model, since it remains at 440 grams, or, which was the same, the weight of the can is 330 ml.
At the design level, this rear is highlighted by a (plastic) strip that covers the entire side and is highlighted by the rear brushed metal finish.
In addition to the comments, this tablet offers Dolby Atmos sound With its 4-speaker system and screen, although not AMOLED, this is a 10-bit IPS panel with 2K resolution that promises to be a good window for viewing multimedia content.
