Meta confirmed that his viewer Quest 3 will arrive in 2023. The company also talked about the possible price of the viewer, which will continue to be offered at a relatively affordable price and much lower than that of the more expensive Quest Pro.
Meta’s CFO, Dave Wehner, explained that the Meta Quest 3 will be unveiled and put on sale “during the next year.” However, it is not clear in which period of the 2023 will be launched. We don’t know the specifications of the next Meta viewer yet, but an important step forward is expected compared to the Meta Quest 2 (which has also recently been increased in price in Italy).
How much does Meta Quest 3 cost? Without getting too out of balance, Wehner gave a narrow enough range of estimates. The executive announced that the Meta Quest 3 will be priced between 300 and 500 dollars – that is, a price very similar to that of the model currently on the market.
Recall that this month Meta announced the Meta Quest Pro, a mixed reality viewer with high-end features and specifications that recently arrived in Italy. The Meta Quest Pro is the most advanced VR/AR headset in the history of Meta and the advanced specifications are well represented by the high price: a whopping € 1799.
