Codemasters is showing off in-engine footage of the upcoming racing game for the first time in a trailer for F1 22. The trailer focuses on the new track Miami International Autodrome, showing both gameplay and cinematic footage of in-motor racing. F1 22 will be released for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X, S and One, and PC (via Origin, Steam, and the Epic Games Store) on July 1st. Champions Edition customers will have access to the game three days in advance.

In F1 22, players will once again have access to the latest cars from the current F1 racing season. It is about 10 teams and a total of 20 drivers. Career mode allows players to create their own teams to compete in Formula 1.

Codemasters promises, among other things, advanced AI for this part of the long-running franchise, as previously announced, so that even inexperienced players have a fair chance against computer-controlled opponents. Also, now available for PC version local vr support.
