Raiffeisenbank introduces a 50% commission for crediting individual funds in dollars from other banks. The new conditions for this type of transaction will come into effect on June 20.
“Due to changing market conditions, the bank is forced to limit the number of incoming transfers in US dollars. We recommend customers use other methods to receive payment,” the credit institution said in a statement.
The bank added that the maximum amount of the commission will not exceed $500. The new conditions will not apply to incoming deposits to the accounts of legal entities, entrepreneurs, as well as private banking clients.
Raiffeisenbank is one of the three most profitable foreign companies in Russia. The profit received in the Russian Federation in 2022 amounted to 40% of all RBI income.
