MTS announced the start of accepting applications for the free All-Russian Olympiad in programming True Tech Champ with the main prize of 3 million rubles.

A true tech champion — a large-scale event with an educational and entertainment program; programming festival, the main goal of which is to discover talents and create new IT communities in the country. Everyone can take part.
The Olympiad is divided into two age categories: for high school students from 14 years old and for students of specialized technical universities.
Participants first need to solve problems and learn algorithmic programming. Prize fund:
► first place: 1 million rubles
► second place: 500 thousand rubles
► third place: 250 thousand rubles
Older participants need to solve technical problems and pass speed programming tests in the five most popular languages at MTS – Java, Go, Python, C++, C#. Prize fund:
► first place: 3 million rubles
► second place: 1.5 million rubles
► third place: 500 thousand rubles (two winners)
During the online stage of the Olympiad, everyone who passes the qualifying tests gets into a closed Telegram channel, where educational and entertaining materials will be published.
In October, the channel published a workshop on strategic problem solving. Participants will learn life hacks from ecosystem experts, analyze several solutions and receive organizational tasks to prepare for the final.

For current IT professionals, the educational program will consist of a mind fitness course with access to online training in all cognitive functions: neuroplasticity, memory, attention, thinking and creativity. Also, participants are given access to a set of special tasks for pumping the brain and conducting master classes.
