Insiders claim that the new Honor Magic 6 Pro will have a “centered pill-shaped hole” on its display, unlike the left-side design of its predecessor.
This design move is similar to the new iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models. The “pill” will include 3D facial recognition sensors and a front camera.
In addition, the new MagicOS 8.0 user interface version based on Android 14 will also be adapted to support this new design.
It should be noted that the latest version of the proprietary shell will receive its own microkernel, which promises improved performance and reduced power consumption. This feature will be responsible for basic operating system tasks such as memory management and process scheduling.
So far, the exact release date of the Honor Magic 6 Pro is unknown, but the smartphone is expected to be officially released in 2023.
