We are talking about a virtual web browser that can run on any device, even if it was not originally designed for Internet meetings.
The project is based on a patent that describes the technology of the virtual browser located on the proxy server.
All the heavy processing, including fetching, rendering and encoding of web pages, is done on the server, while the user’s device simply decodes and displays the sites.
Maybe this will be a future iteration of Microsoft Edge, or maybe Microsoft will introduce a completely new experience. In any case, the technology described in the patent clearly shows that browsing the Internet with various devices may become a new standard in the near future.
