First, the New York Times reports that the US Department of Justice understands that Apple is legally blocking the Beeper service. Beeper representatives met with ministry staff on December 12.
It is also reported that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) likely also made a decision during the trial. However, it is not yet known what it all ultimately led to.
The companies do not comment on what is happening.
