Samsung is developing two new versions of wired chargers for mobile devices. The information comes from leak expert Roland Quandt.

According to Quandt, one of the models is EP-T4511. a new 45W charger that will replace the brand’s most popular accessory in the category right now. There are no technical details about how the product will evolve compared to the previous model.

The second charger is the most curious one. This is the EP-T5020 or Samsung Charger Duo. Power two devices simultaneously via USB-C and from someone 50W power.

So far, Samsung has not officially commented on the existence of the company’s new chargers. There are no details about the prices of the devices.

Launching with Galaxy S24?

The person responsible for leaking the new chargers did not specify when these models might be released. But there is At least there is a possibility that these will be mentioned at the brand’s next conference.

Samsung confirms a new version of its Galaxy Unpacked event for that day January 17, at 3pm (Brasília time). Announcements will be prominent at the conference Galaxy S24 premium smartphone series, with hardware updates and various artificial intelligence features.

However, a few years ago the manufacturer no longer sells high-end smartphones with chargers in the box — a strategy that focuses on sustainability and preventing the accumulation of electronic waste, according to the brand.

So, although chargers are ready when new mobile phones are released, they can only be purchased separately through the brand’s website.
