I think everyone has faced this problem over the past couple of years. We started using Telegram more often. Almost all our contacts were created there. It has become more important to receive notifications on time and not miss them.
But for some reason, a strange problem occurs periodically on the iPhone. Consistently once every couple of weeks, and sometimes more often, Push notifications from the “cart” stop coming.
Closing the messenger from many tasks does not help. Attempts to reconfigure anything, turn Wi-Fi or cellular Internet on and off, did not yield any results.
After this, many people reinstall the Telegram application, losing the cache files. But there is a much simpler way.
How to fix the problem using Telegram
Solution: restart your iPhone.
I would be happy to write after this that I was joking. But I No kidding. Reboot your device and notifications will start coming again.
It often happens to me that my iPhone works for several weeks without a single reboot. But for some reason, notifications only fall off in Telegram; there are no such problems with all publicly available programs.
What matters is what you need switch off smartphone, and not just, say, update the firmware. For some reason, rebooting to install a new version of iOS does not help. To turn off, all notifications are returned steadily.
Why is this happening? Perhaps this is due to the peculiarities of the Push notification system on the iPhone. I asked the question to the iOS developers I use, but we didn’t find a clear answer. In their opinion, the issue is probably not in iOS, but in fact in Telegram and how it works with Push.
One way or another, now you know what to do when a “cart” opens and you see that government PMs and important correspondence have been missed from somewhere. If only I didn’t catch this thing at the most inopportune moment, it would be absolutely wonderful.
