Tinkoff is looking for developers in Tashkent to develop both internal projects and products for clients. Registration is carried out in accordance with the Labor Code of Uzbekistan. The company published the corresponding vacancies on hh, RB.RU caught the attention.

The Senior Java Developer vacancy description indicated that the candidate would need to develop external and internal products, as well as develop and implement integration solutions.
In the enterprise, Java is one of the most common development languages. The company uses it to describe “complex and busy projects.” Tinkoff was looking for developers who could bring expertise and take their products to a new level.
To the question about the likelihood of Tinkoff opening a bank branch in Uzbekistan, Ivan Fedyakov, general director of INFOline, responded that it would be difficult to transfer the company’s financial services to Central Asia, because there are local players there, international companies that have already divided the market quite well. . Furthermore, industrial regulation and sanctions, which currently limit Russian business development in this region, also work against this hypothesis.
In Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, according to the expert, quite good conditions have been created for the development of IT business. Therefore, it is profitable to develop specifically towards outsourcing any development function.
“There are specialists there, they are cheaper and the tax conditions are much more favorable. So I think first of all it is (search for developers in Tashkent – approx. edit) is related to this. Well, in addition to tens of thousands of immigrants from Russia, it is quite possible that former Tinkoff employees will be able to return to work if some divisions are created there for them,” Ivan Fedyakov concluded.
Tinkoff opened its first development centers in 2017. They open in cities with technical universities and high-tech companies. Now, according to the company’s own data, there are 25 offices in Russia and the world.
