Unveiled at GTC 2024, the PCB01 targets not only AI PCs but also the gaming and premium PC markets. Jae-Yun Yun, head of NAND product planning at SK hynix, highlighted the ability to load large language models into system memory in less than a second, which improves local AI performance.
This is the first SK hynix branded SSD with PCIe Gen 5 interface, surpassing previous models in speed and efficiency. This drive competes with other PCIe 5.0 SSDs with increased throughput and power efficiency.
