In its new ranking, the Bank of Russia has ranked insurance companies by the level of consumer risk indicators, from highest to lowest.

The Bank of Russia has compiled a list of insurance companies based on the level of consumer complaints.
The indicator was calculated based on the ratio of the number of complaints received by the regulator against a specific insurer per 10 thousand contracts concluded. Only those complaints in which facts of violations of consumer rights were confirmed were taken into account. Companies that received one complaint were not included in the ranking.
“The information provided by the Bank of Russia will help car owners to choose the right insurer. And for insurance organizations, their place in the ranking should become an incentive to improve their work with clients,” the press service of the Bank of Russia said.
It should be noted that, according to the regulator’s data, by the end of 2023, JSC Insurance Group Spasskie Vorota had the most complaints (almost 3 complaints per 10,000), the second place in the anti-rating rating was taken by the insurance company INSIGHT (about 2 complaints per 10,000), and the last of these top three was IC “BASK” (1.24 complaints per 10,000).
The leaders of the rating in terms of the minimum number of complaints were Insurance Business Group JSC, IC Paritet-SK LLC and Medexpress insurance company – their indicator was zero.
According to data for 2022, JSC Insurance Group Spasskie Vorota was also among the companies that received the most complaints, although at that time the number of complaints to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation was almost half as high.
