The developed algorithm uses a machine learning system based on gradient descent for pixel analysis of the image structure. Each 8 x 8 pixel image block is modified in such a way that it is invisible to the human eye, but can be seen by specially developed software, the press service noted.
Researchers emphasize that the new technology can be applied not only to images but also to other types of digital content, which will significantly strengthen copyright protection and ensure the security of digital data on the Internet.
