Analysts of the operator T2 (formerly Tele2), based on big data analysis, found out how the audience for dating applications in Russia has changed. According to a study reviewed by RB.RU, the market has managed to almost completely replace imports.

According to him, the share of Tinder users who left Russia has decreased significantly: if in 2022 it was 26%, by the end of 2024 it fell to 1%. The number of Russian Tinder users in 2023 decreased by 20.9% and in 2024 – 74.7% in annual terms, but some Russians are still looking for ways to bypass the restrictions.
The leader among dating apps in 2024 was the home service Mamba, with a market share of 39%. In second place is “VK Dating” with a share of 29%, the Tabor service closes the top three with 13%.
The newcomers to the market were VK Dating and the Twinby service, launched in 2023, but the latter was only able to increase its share to 3.5%.
The majority of the audience of Russian dating services is made up of users between 35 and 44 years old (32% of the total). Men use the services more frequently than women: 55% compared to 45%. The Loveplanet service is especially popular among the male audience; Mamba attracts women more.
The largest number of dating users lives in the Moscow region and in Moscow – 10% and 6%, respectively.
