Xiaomi 12 Lite made its official announcement this week after most of its information appeared in leaks earlier. Xiaomi has confirmed that the phone has a 6.55” OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 108MP main camera.
As the successor to the Xiaomi 11 Lite, the new phone is still trying to offer advanced features at a competitive price. The processor is a Snapdragon 778G made on the 6nm process, and potential buyers will have a choice of three memory sets in three different price ranges:
- 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage for $400
- 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage for $450
- 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage for $500
The 108MP camera is accompanied by an 8MP sensor for ultra-wide photos and a 2MP sensor for macro images, with a total set of triple cameras on the back of the phone. On the front, we have a 32MP module for selfies.
Finally, the Xiaomi 12 Lite comes with a 4,300mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The model may come with 5G support, but this will vary depending on the markets where it is officially available. Pre-sales have started on official Xiaomi channels.
