Kim received 45% of the company, another 55% belongs to the expertiliti LLC. The owner of this legal entity is the JSC Central Committee, also controlled by Kim. Volkswagen received permission from Vladimir Putin to sell his banking “daughter” at the end of December, Interfax recalled.

Context. Volkswagen Bank Rus was created in 2010, specialized in the emission of car loans. According to the results of 2024, the Bank held 135 in the Interfax-100 ranking in terms of assets, which amounted to 24 billion rubles.

  • Last winter, Kim bought a lease and factoring “daughter” Volkswagen – LLC “Volkswagen Financial Services Rus” (Factoring) and LLC Volkswagen Group Group (lease). The shares of these companies in January also crossed the central JSC committee.
  • Since 2022, Kim and its partners bought a series of assets from foreign companies that decided to leave the Russian market. In particular, they became owners of lease and production assets in the automotive industry, including Volvo, Mitsubishi E CNH Industrial (owner of the Iveco truck manufacturer).
