Many users complained that such pictures intervened in finding real photos. In response, the Duckduckgo team added a filter. To use, you need to search, go to the “Pictures” tab, then select “II image” option in the newly opened menu, and determine the “Hide” option.
The filter can also be opened in search settings by selecting “Hide images created by AI”.
The filter is based on open lock lists such as nuclear list and large AI block list from Ublockorigin. They will not help to get rid of the Ai-pictures completely, but they will be significantly less.
Duckduuckgo also said that he would add such filters in the future, but so far there is no detail.
