The tests included 28 current CPUs, whose performance was measured in 15 modern games using the GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card.

The leader of the rating is Ryzen 7600X3D; It produces 2,118 fps for every watt of energy expended. Ryzen 7800X3D ranks second with 2,023 fps/W, while Ryzen 5700X3D ranks third with 1,916 fps/W.

Intel’s budget Core Ultra 5 235 and Core Ultra 5 225F models also showed good results, with 1,807 and 1,694 fps/W respectively.

But the flagship AMD Ryzen 9950X3D turned out to be unexpectedly inefficient: only 1,177 fps/W, which is close to the performance of the Core i5-14400F. The worst performers were the Core i9-14900K and Core i7-14700K, with 0.7 and 0.612 fps/W respectively.
