Humane has just completed its third funding round, bringing $100 million to the venture. It also has several key partners, including OpenAI and Microsoft.

It’s unclear what product Humane is working on. However, several patents have been published that give the impression that this device will be wearable. One of the patents states that the device can project a screen (possibly on your hand) that users can interact with. According to another presentation, the gadget can “take on” micro-operations that once required a smartphone and are now faster, easier and smoother with the help of context recognition. It is unknown whether the device will need a smartphone to work.
