According to the entrepreneur, the launch of Starship is expected very soon, in the third week of April. By then, the company is waiting to obtain the necessary licenses from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Musk said the flight is an important step for SpaceX, which is trying to build reusable spacecraft that can send people and cargo into deep space.
Recall that in early January, SpaceX successfully conducted a “dress rehearsal” of a fully assembled starship, simulating all stages before the launch of the rocket.
The Starship itself is designed to take humans and cargo into space with the goal of eventually reaching Mars.
