As a result, Ozon employees had to resort to alternative software such as Google Meet, Zoom and Telegram. The lack of access to Microsoft services created problems, especially with e-mail, where a significant amount of information is stored.

However, Ozon confirmed that access to key services has been restored and that the incident did not have a serious impact on the work of the employees. The company’s internal systems, including warehouse and sales management, were not affected. Ozon said it purchased Microsoft software licenses from an authorized distributor and is investigating the cause of the outage.
