One UI 7 and Android 15 are back in the spotlight. And not especially with good news under his arm. Today we learned about a bitter leak for users of Samsung mobile devices: a person associated with the company’s ecosystem revealed road map that the Koreans can keep an eye on until they release stable versions of the software. Unfortunately, the long wait predicted a few days ago by another source is becoming a reality.

Although most manufacturers are already updating to Android 15, Samsung is still in a difficult position. The company is not executing on its fast and effective strategy from previous years, and the leaked roadmap is once again opening the wound. If the given source is correct, The wait to get One UI 7 on your Samsung mobile phone may last until February 2025..

Here’s what the supposed leaked roadmap says One UI 7 and Android 15 on Samsung phones.

  • Galaxy S24: The One UI 7 beta phase for the entire series begins in the first week of December.
  • Galaxy S23: In two to three weeks, the entire series will be able to access the beta version.
  • Galaxy S22: The series could have access to beta as early as the beginning of the year.
  • Galaxy S21: The entire series will remain without access to the One UI 7 beta phase.

Moreover, the source adds that One beta program of UI 7 and Android 15 will last 2 monthstherefore, a stable and official version should be expected no earlier than February.

One UI 7 has a long way to go

This roadmap is quite consistent with what was revealed about Ice Universe a few days ago. According to him, One UI 7 is full of bugs important ones that Samsung didn’t have time to fix and that beta phase users will have to live with. Therefore, this test is expected to not only be long but also quite tedious.

And, as always happens when there are many failures, delays are common. Of course, there is also a possibility that One UI 7 will launch with some general issues or fewer features than expected.

For now, we only have to wait about 15 days to enter the first week of December and check the veracity of this leak. Of course, given that Samsung has yet to release One UI 7 to date, it’s likely that you have to wait patiently for stable and official update.
