According to tech site WinFuture, Huawei will soon launch a next-generation FreeBuds Pro wireless in-ear. FreeBuds Pro 2 is said to be designed in collaboration with French top audio company Devialet.

WinFuture reports that Huawei has equipped the new FreeBuds with two speaker drivers, possibly one for the low bass tones and the other for the mid and high frequencies. FreeBuds Pro 2 has a frequency range of 14 to 48,000 Hz.

The in-ear also has active noise canceling. Ambient noise is recorded and converted into anti-noise by three microphones outside the earphone. Ambient noise can be reduced up to 47 decibels.

FreeBuds Pro 2 lasts for approximately 4 hours on one charge. So with active noise reduction; Without the function, a battery life of 6.5 hours can be achieved. With the included charging case, the wireless earbuds can be charged between uses, extending the total usage time up to 30 hours. FreeBuds are splash resistant (IP54).

Huawei’s FreeBuds Pro 2 will be available in three colors: Blue Silver, Ceramic White, and Frosted Silver. Exactly when they will appear on the market is still unknown, but that will be soon. The price will likely be just under $200, like the original FreeBuds Pro in 2020.
