The court decided to recover more than 200 million rubles from Wildberries in favor of an individual entrepreneur for damaged and lost property. According to the plaintiff, 21 thousand pairs of shoes that were stored in the Wildberries warehouse were lost and several thousand more were damaged. Wildberries filed a countersuit, but the court did not accept it.
The Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region decided to recover 200.9 million rubles from Wildberry LLC in favor of individual entrepreneur KV Akopyan, the specialized Telegram channel for legal assistance to entrepreneurs reported in reference to the court decision.
Previously, the Shot Telegram channel reported that Wildberries had filed a lawsuit against Wildberries to obtain compensation for losses for lost and damaged goods. The shoe brand (Enzo Logana and Lagatta) was missing 21 thousand pairs of shoes from the Wildberries warehouse and several thousand more pairs were damaged, according to the plaintiff, by rats.
The court decision states that Wildberries filed a counterclaim against the businessman, but it was unsatisfied.
According to the law, Wildberries can appeal the court decision within one month from the date of the decision.
Wildberries told RB.RU that they have not yet commented on this matter.
Before the court’s decision in the case, the Wildberries press service reported that they considered the businessman’s claims for the declared amount to be unfounded.
“The company sold most of these products or presented them for return,” they say in the press service.
