Traditional methods of controlling moles in the field include ultrasonic repellents and buzzers, filling holes with water, using various scents, fireworks, and physical traps. But many of them are not only ineffective but also harmful to the garden.
You can use the following two methods to get rid of moles all year round.
Boxes on sticks. You need to take ordinary beer cans and place them on metal rods. For this you will need a thin reinforcement about 1.5 m long. It should be placed 50 cm into the ground (preferably in a molehill), and a beer can should be placed at its free end. The sound will help scare away moles.
aeolian harp. In winter, when there is no wind, the effectiveness of this method may not be that high. You will need to take the bottles and bury them at an angle. They emit sounds and vibrations when the wind blows.
