The new approach takes into account changes in both the electrical and geometric axis of the heart. This makes it possible to distinguish the normal state from pathologies, including chronic heart failure, pulmonary embolism and myocardial infarction.
Diagnostics takes 10−15 minutes. The program analyzes the ECG, and then the neural network compares the data with information on 250 patients with confirmed diagnoses. Artificial intelligence produces a preliminary conclusion for the doctor.
Development has already demonstrated high accuracy and information content. They plan to apply the new method to clinics and hospitals in Penza.
