Huawei is set to make the most of its Huawei Weather app, a weather assistant that has just received a major update.
This is an astronomy package that will provide star location data as well as sky maps.
In particular, three new features have been added to Huawei Weather:
- Stargazing Index: Users can select suitable nights for stargazing through star rating suggestions. This index will give a detailed report for today, tomorrow and the next three days. This feature can be quickly accessed in the Weather app.
- Hourly astronomical index forecast: This page includes various weather data such as hourly temperature, weather visibility, total cloud cover, wind speed and multi-location data. It’s easy to determine the best time to stargaze.
- Stargazing Map: The corresponding function finds the best place for observing the starry sky at the right time. Thus, users can enjoy a wonderful night with the help of these tools.
The company said that Huawei has invested a lot of human and technical resources into the Weather app, making it an ideal weather platform. The new astronomy feature will soon be available to all app users.
