Windows 11’s biggest update already has a date: this is what awaits us

Microsoft plans to release the next major update to Windows 11 version 22H2 on September 20th.. Or is that what comes to us from various specialized sources on the subject. We are talking about the largest update to date, Windows 11, which is belated.

Microsoft has been testing Windows 11 22H2 for several months now and it will include a number of new improvements such as app folders in the start menu, drag and drop on the taskbar, new touch gestures and animations, etc.

Microsoft is also adding a new Live Captions accessibility feature with 22H2 which is great for deaf people.hard of hearing or those who want to automatically add subtitles to audio.

In addition, 22H2 includes a new voice access tool that allows you to control your PC with voice commands. As you can see, the idea behind this new update is to turn the OS into a truly accessible system.

Task Manager has also been redesigned in Windows 11 22H2 with a new dark mode. and a design that includes a new command bar and efficiency mode to limit application resource consumption.

Anchor layouts will also be greatly improved in 22H2, making it easier to drag and drop to display all layouts that can be used to organize apps.

Microsoft is also working on tabs for File Explorer, which will arrive a little later on September 20th.. Windows Central reports that another update is scheduled for 22H2 later this year, which includes tabs for File Explorer and a new Suggested Actions feature.

Improve the performance of Windows 11

Sources told The Verge that Microsoft plans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Surface with new products this fall. These Surface devices will likely ship with the new version of Windows 11 22H2.

Microsoft has yet to officially announce a release date for Windows 11 22H2 or any hints of a possible Surface event. The company will return to in-person technical events in October when the Ignite conference takes place October 12-14 in Seattle.
