Last week, China adopted the world’s first 88-meter semi-autonomous drone ship Zhu Hai Yun, capable of transporting and launching proper-class unmanned vehicles, as well as controlling their actions.

The ship was built by Huangpu Wenchong almost a year ago. According to the South China Morning Post, this is the world’s first autonomous platform designed to carry out operations using not only UAVs, but also underwater and surface autonomous drones.
