Apple was accused by the authorities of the Russia from abuse of dominant position on the market. The subject of the dispute? Refusal to open the App Store to third-party payment methods. That’s the same reason Apple is the subject of as many disputes in Europe and beyond.
Apple – blames the Russian competition authorities – would refuse to provide users with information about: alternative payment methods. Not a new theme, even if something has started to move recently, but exclusive to some specific categories of apps.

While the allegations from the Russian authorities do not span anything, international observers say it would be a pretext that Moscow would use to attack Western tech companies again. A retaliation for the sanctions the West has imposed on the Russian economy.
